AFD: In Studio Residency Comes to Charleston
We’re so excited to return to Charleston Dance Center this fall, September 27–28, for an Acting for Dancers In-Studio Residency Workshop.
This unique training experience blends the worlds of dance and theatre, guiding dancers to move beyond steps and into story. Through exercises in presence, vulnerability, and authentic expression, dancers learn how to bring their fullest artistry to the stage — tools that serve them in competition, performance, and beyond.
Unlike a traditional masterclass, an Acting for Dancers residency is designed to immerse students in the deeper work of performance. Dancers will walk away with practical techniques and a renewed sense of confidence in their artistry.
✨ Open to the public — dancers from across Charleston and surrounding areas are invited to join us.
